About us

Our apiary has a history of over 100 years

My great-grandfather, József Boda, started to work with bees sometime in the early 1900s. He has created and maintained a wonderful beekeeping, which has been passed down from father to son. At the foot of the Harghita, they established a permanent beekeeping haven.
Later on, the beekeeping was expanded with hives and eventually migrated to different parts of the country.

I myself, László Boda, grew up in Csíkszereda (Miercurea-Ciuc) as a fourth-generation beekeeper, where I got an insight into the wonderful world of bees.

Thanks to my wife, Tünde, I moved to Szatmár County in 2013, along with my bees. Since then, we have maintained our apiary together, and we are constantly developing it.
We offer only our own high quality products, which are produced in Szatmár County. The seasonal migration of our beehives helps us to acquire and produce the best quality organic honey.

What does quality mean to us?

Our honey does not contain any added substances such as sugar or other sweetening agents harmful to health. We only extract the matured honey, which is naturally collected by the bees, from dedicated frames.

Thereby we can avoid the need to extract frames containing the developing bees and water nectar, where the resulting sweet juice is called honey.

We offer only our own high quality products, which are produced in Szatmár County. The seasonal migration of our beehives helps us to acquire and produce the best quality organic honey.

We pay special attention to select farms, lands taht are not contaminated and we also completely avoid the use of chemicals in our beekeeping.
Last but not least: the carefully produced, cleanly extracted honey is filled without heating, thus preserving its natural consistency and beneficial effects. We recommend our products - which we consume daily - with courage and heart to the little ones and the big ones.
